This Exhibit is inspired by the hours I have spent at the non-catholic cemetery, more specifically the works of Romantic poets John Keats sonnet To Sleep is a known metaphor for the ultimate rest; a state of unconsciousness and escape from all that troubles us. Shelley's Hymn to Intellectual Beauty explores a more animated state: the power of the human imagination, the qualities of beauty that resides in nature and in the enduring spirit. These poems were not only inspiration for a bigger project of interpreting poetry through color and light, but became a way for me to appreciate this artistic form anew. Their truths and their endings have, in essence sparked my beginning. All works are on beautiful thick handmade paper and are for sale, ranging from 200 euros to 250 euros Prints are available on high-quality watercolor paper 21 X 30 cm (8" X 12") 35 euros matted 25 euros non-matted .
