Stella, my Beagle I love most animals but never saw myself as a dog person. But somehow I was given a beagle puppy by a friend and life changed for me. I got her a few days before lockdown, not knowing of course we were going to be in lockdown for many months in Rome, Italy. Having a dog helped since dog owners were allowed to take a walk in your neighborhood without a destination. Somehow she has absorbed some of my personality or it just happened that way. She is stubborn, persistent, playful, happy and really does brighten up people's days. Now, I understand when people say they are your best friend. |
